Howdy family and friends,
This past year has
been an exciting, but different one for me. I’m on my last stretch of school
here at A&M, and while I’m tempted to mourn the fact that I’m closer to the
end than I would like to be, I can’t help but worship God for the experiences
and growth I have had here. I’ve been incredibly blessed by the community of my
church, campus ministry, and incredible roommates that have all given me a
global and eternal perspective throughout my time here. I’ve been pushed deeper
into scripture and held to a higher standard than I ever thought possible, and
I’ve learned so much about God in the process. He has been my rock and my
sustainer through it all.
This summer, I have the opportunity
to serve 9 weeks in North Africa leading a team of 5 other college students. I
could not be more excited! We will build relationships with local people
through the sharing of our time, stories, and lives with them. As with any
friendship, we desire for each person to know Christ as their savior, so please
pray our new friends would be receptive to the gospel. This area of Africa is
deeply rooted in Islam, so we will be engaging in conversations focused on who
Jesus is and why he is much more than a good teacher or a prophet.
We will be serving and partnering with long term IMB missionaries who know infinitely more about the people and the culture than I do right now. They will show us what long term service looks like, and will faithfully follow up with friends we have made after we return home. With currently no indigenous churches in this area,we will also be doing a lot of prayer walking through this region. We will actively pray for people to come to faith and and for locals to rise up into church leadership.

The support I have felt over the
last couple years of being in school has been unbelievable. I’ve been blessed
to have people faithfully praying for me throughout this whole season of life,
and it’s been exceptionally humbling. I am confident that I would not be the
woman I am today without those prayers, and I will continue to covet the
prayers of anyone who is willing to support me in that way. I want to continue to ask, and thank you, for
those prayers as I begin preparing for this summer. Please be praying
specifically for team unity and devotedness to prayer and scripture. In
addition to your prayer support, I am also in need of people to support me
financially. Right now, I am seeking to raise the remaining $3,000 by March
28th.
If you can support me financially I
have created a PayPal account so you can give online.
If you would like to write a check
for tax purposes I ask that you make it out to Lake Highlands Baptist Church
and just put my name on the envelope or on an accompanying note. You can give
that check directly to me or mail it to 642 Brookhurst Dr, Dallas, TX 75218.
I want to thank you in advance for supporting
me. If you have any questions please feel free to email me anytime at 1cadams11@gmail.com. I will also be
sending updates throughout the summer. If you would like these updates as a way
to pray for me throughout the summer, please send me an email so I can add you
to my list!
Thank you so much!
Caroline Adams
